Beth Drainville is a professional painter, illustrator and arts educator. When not working in her Rhode Island studio, Beth is painting en plein air.  The immediacy of painting outdoors, personally observing and responding to changing conditions and how they affect the subject, is reflective in the direct, expressive style of her painting. Nature, historical architecture and the rural lifestyle is a focus of much of her work.  An awarded and collected artist, Drainville frequently exhibits in solo, group and juried shows throughout New England and is also available for Fine Art Animal Portraits.
